Pender-Thurston Chamber of Commerce is organizing a special two hours of “trick or treating” for Halloween from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31.
Businesses on Main Street will have their lights on and doors open to children and their parents/guardians during that time frame.
In addition to those on Main Street, several other businesses are also going to be welcoming goblins, princesses and all of the other characters who will be out and about collecting goodies. They include Cubby’s Community Store, Pender Community Hospital, Prairie Breeze Assisted Living and Legacy Garden Rehabilitation and Living Center.
If there are any other businesses that would like to be involved or have questions about the event, contact Amanda Huntington at 402-385-3238.
